James West - a Poet’s Biography
James grew up on his parent’s farm in the South East of England. Here he worked alongside his father until he was old enough to strike out on his own as a construction engineer.
However it was not long before fate took charge. His agreeable lifestyle was dramatically changed in a dreadful motor accident, one that left James hospitalised for several months.
It was then, when he had time on his hands, that James began to write. It fast became an enjoyable and satisfying pastime for him.
Happily he has continued writing to this day. Much of his inspiration is taken from the rolling hills of Montana and beautiful sky scraping mountains of Idaho. As you may have guessed James is now settled in America. The American way of life agrees with him, which is evident in the style and content of his poetry.
