Theo Dapore

I express my art through techniques developed over the past thirty years and visions driven by my life experiences. However, I have been seriously working in the fine art field since Aug of 2005. Many times they are conceived by my customer’s comments and wants. Your feedback is not only appreciated but it is the lifeblood of my want to produce exceptional art desired by those who love and appreciate art. Of course my background with the airbrush is reflected in my brush work. Soft transitional blends, tinted washes, blending off of the hard edges, and exceptional lighting, all accomplished with a brush and fingered texture painting.

I am currently developing some new techniques, and the styling of my landscapes is taking a new form, while my love of experimental abstract work is still growing. I am devoted to working on subjects of interest to you and I am always happy to take on commissioned work for serious collectors. I believe as an evolving artist, and as I learn from you, what makes you happiest about my style and composition, that the art is taking on more value and I look forward to those conversations.

Art is my passion, and its direction is guided by suggestions from many of my customers and of course my family. Thanks for taking the time to learn a bit about me. I would like to know you as well, and hope to hear from you in the future.

Theo. Dapore

Theo Dapore has been in the art field the majority of his professional life. Starting at a young age he recalls at the age of 14 or 15 getting out of bed at 2 or 3 am not being able to sleep and spending a few hours on an unfinished painting in the corner of the bedroom. At this time the direction of his life was evident. "Do I have it, or does it have me?!"

The creative aspect is not just expressed in the art it come through in a mixture of techniques combined on a single canvas. Unorthodox?? The artist makes it happen with mix and flair, approaches that distinguishes; he's quite unique in the field of art. Many of the tools and equipment used by Dapore are altered from their intentional use and a few pieces are handmade. Included in that arsenal is a lot of finger-painting. Thank you for taking the time with my statement and please enjoy the mix.
