Born in 1950 in Hampstead, London.

Studied at Goldsmiths College of Art 1968-72

Background artist at "Hallas Bachelor" 1972-74

Illustrated "The Devil in Disguise" published 1975 (Firefly Books)

Freelanced in animation until 1982

Turned full time Artist in 1982, specialising in watercolour and drawing

"I have always been inspired by the light, colour and form of nature. My earlier technique was more illustrative but I have found the feeling of the light, and nature's shapes are best expressed in a looser style. My main love and source of inspiration are poppies, from the fragile field poppy to the bold orientals."
