Heather Stuart

Heather was born in the colourful seaside town of Hastings.  She graduated with honours from the Kent Institute of Art and Design in 1993.  Her distinctive work reflects the style of the 50’s and makes it stand out as something special.

Heather’s artwork has been used in numerous publications ranging from magazines, including the Radio Times, and magazine editorials, to posters, stamps, greetings cards, and latterly children’s books. Her second childrens book has just been published through an American publisher, Handprint Books, and is available to buy on Amazon.

Her paintings can be found in private collections across Britain and Europe.  She has exhibited in London at the renowned Bonham’s Gallery, as well in Covent Garden and Vauxhall.  Heather also exhibits in Battle and Heathfield at the Nick Whistler Galleries, in addition to Rye and her home town of Hastings.

Heather uses a wide range of media in her illustrations and paintings, including oils and acrylic on canvas.  She is happy to undertake commissions on all subject matter.
